Wonderful Winter Vineyard Wedding

View More Photos

Kyle and Cindy had been best friends for years after meeting at a super bowl party through mutual friends. After being in touch through the internet for about five years, they were finally able to go on their first date! It was in downtown Portland and was composed of some of their now favorite things such as: dinner at a local restaurant, doughnuts, and a walk on the waterfront. Almost a year later Kyle recreated their first date but this time it didn’t end with their first kiss, it ended with proposal!

Kyle and Cindy both love the Pacific Northwest and planned their vineyard wedding in hopes for it to rain. They desired an intimate wedding ceremony with their closest family members but still wanted to be able to celebrate with their friends later that night. Their wedding day began by heading to Saffron Fields Vineyard to have their vineyard wedding ceremony.

Before the ceremony the couple decided to do a first look were they read each other their vows. Next they had a first look with their corgis! After crying a few happy tears, it was time to get married. They thought that the venue was already so beautiful that they only added a few small embellishments. Their unique greenery arbor being one embellishment, and their corgi décor being another!

Cindy walked down the aisle with her grandma’s amethyst broach attached to her bouquet that perfectly matched the purple in her hair. It was very important to the couple that their wedding resembled them and their love. After their ceremony they visited and laughed with their family as they took photos and celebrated. The couple then went to explore the vineyard with their photographers. They stepped outside to see that it was raining and that there was even a rainbow! This was great news to the newlyweds since they both love the rain!

The couple says that this was one of their favorite moments of the day. After photos, they joined their friends for a celebration at a different venue and spent the night dancing, toasting, and visiting with their friends. They encourage all couples to have fun at their wedding, but that it’s not just about you. It is also a great opportunity for your family to learn more about your love and how it has gown over the years.
