Rustic and Whimsical Wedding in Tennessee

Tommy and Haley wed on the expansive grounds at Macedonia Meadows in Cookeville, Tennessee complete with picturesque outdoor landscapes and a large reception farmhouse barn.  The couple met through Tommy’s sister at one of his men’s travel softball games where they hit it off and the rest is history.  Haley describes her wedding day as perfect.  The couple was thrilled with the nature-filled atmosphere and wonderful weather.  They styled their day with whimsical pampas grass paired with greenery, macrame, and tan and ivory accents abound.  Their biggest piece of advice for other couples looking to save on budget is to shop on Etsy for décor elements.

Hi everyone!! Today, on The Bride Link we are introducing this elegant and classic wedding that was held here in Tennessee! Catherine and Morgan met through mutual friends during their time at college and as soon as they met they knew that there was a special connection between them! After dating for a little while, Morgan knew that he wanted to propose to Catherine. He began planning the perfect proposal for her! Their proposal day started as a date to Biltmore Estates during Christmas time. They spent the day exploring the village, shopping, and wine tasting. Soon it was time for them to take the tour of the house. As they were walking towards the house Morgan led her in front of a giant lit up Christmas tree and proceeded to get down on one knee! Whimsical Outdoor Wedding

The proposal was at the Hermitage Museum, in Norfolk during a picnic lunch. David planned a picnic during one of the later days in December. As he began to unpack the lunch, Jessica noticed it was more of a special lunch not like their usual lunches. After it wasall set up, he pulled a box out of his pocket and after he asked Jessica to marry him she said YES! They celebrated with a bottle of champagne that was hidden behind the basket - talk about romantic! 

Jessica and David chose to have an outdoor wedding at the Norfolk botanical garden called Butterfly Garden with a bright floral theme for their wedding. Jessica and her mother created invitaions that matched her floral theme by incorporating a variety of floral backgrounds.
