Mismatched Black Bridesmaid Dresses

Black and Pink Mismatched Bridesmaids

Today’s Fashion Favorites inspiration is all about mismatched black bridesmaid dresses! I love the idea of having your bridesmaids wear different dresses with a similar theme. Today, I show how gorgeous mismatched, black bridesmaid dresses can be with a pop of color. For this particular inspiration board, I chose to pair the dresses with pops of pink, but black bridesmaid dresses would look classy with really any accent color such as white, champaign, or lavender!

Mismatched Convertible Bridesmaid Dresses

Mismatched Convertible Bridesmaid Dresses

Convertible Bridesmaid Dress Ideas

Mismatched bridesmaid dresses is a trend that I will always love. They allow each bridesmaid to look unique through either a variety in their dress color or style. I have found that one of the easiest way to achieve this look is through having all your ladies wear a convertible bridesmaid dress. The fact that it is the same gown allows the bridal party to look similar, however, the convertible aspect gives each lady her own unique look. Although there are several options for convertible dresses you can purchase online, I have personally fallen in love with the Annabelle Gown from Jenny Yoo and the Twist Wrap from Dessy. Both of these dresses are seen below showcasing how many unique ways you can wear one dress!

Spring Wedding Flower Guide

Uncategorized Apr 08, 2015

Are you planning a spring wedding? If so, this spring flower guide is a must have! Knowing what flowers are in season during your wedding planning may not only help you save money but also help you stay seasonal with your decor. I also created graphics below to show what spring flowers grow in what colors. Since I'm not a professional floral designer, I have the help of Esme from The Fleurella to make sure I have all my facts right. She will specifically discuss what flowers typically grow in spring and how that may effect their price. Enjoy, and I hope you find this helpful as you plan your spring wedding!

From Esme regarding how choosing flowers that are in season may effect their price.

  • "When a flower is "in season" it means that it blooms naturally that time of year, in your part of the world.  Some flowers are similar to fruit.  Sure you can get strawberries in January, flown in from somewhere far away, but they won't be half as splendid or abundant as...
