Tennessee Smoky Mountain Vineyard Wedding

From the tasteful vineyards to the stunning views, Mountain Mist Farms was the perfect place for Jennifer & Jerod to hold their dream wedding in the Smoky Mountains. They held an elegant, and cozy wedding this past spring, and their wedding details enhanced the rustic chic that the barn venue already holds.

They had an enchanting ceremony by the beautiful wooden cross that the venue offers, overlooking the vineyards. With the mountains as their backdrop, they did not have to include too many decor pieces at the ceremony site. However, the shepherd's hooks with draped greenery and blue roses outlining the aisle added to the simple elegance. Their arbor piece included ivory and beige florals with more greenery to tie it all together.

The reception was held inside the barn, following the ceremony. With a ceiling full of lights hanging like rain, and grand chandeliers, it isn’t hard to mess up reception site decor. The barn features a grand hall, with ample space to dance, mingle, and still has space for all their desired vendors.

Jennifer & Jerod chose to stick with classy white linens for the rectangle tables surrounding the dance floor. The white linens contrast beautifully against the rustic barn interior. The simple color palette gave an elegant, and charismatic aura. They lined the tables to create a symmetrical and perfectly spaced layout.  For the centerpieces, they had glass pillar vases with candles sitting on top of raw cut wood planks. Greenery circled the centerpieces for added detail. Details such as the silver tealight candles, and the sage green & gold table numbers helped fill out the tables.

Jennifer & Jerod’s color scheme incorporates beiges, ivories, navy blues, and lavender blues. Jennifer’s bridesmaids wore various shades of blue which added dimension and a pop of subtle color. They carried beautiful bouquets that closely resembled the bride’s bouquet. Jennifer was dressed in lovely lace, and chiffon gown that flowed elegantly, which was especially great for photos. Her bouquet included ivory and taupe florals and hints of blue to tie in with the bridesmaid dresses. Jerod wore a sand-colored suit with a navy blue boutonniere, which matched his groomsmen’s attire.

Jennifer & Jerod’s cake and dessert table was full of tasteful items, and the design flowed perfectly with the rest of the wedding. The cake was rustic white, semi-naked, and three-tiered with a Mr. & Mrs. Goff topper. The couple also included a dog topper at the base of the cake to resemble their fur baby. The florals on the cake were the same pretty ivory and taupe color as the florals on the arbor. There were also hints of blue florals to match the beautiful color scheme. In addition to the cake, they also offered simple white icing cupcakes. The cupcakes were vanilla flavored with a surprise chocolate filling. The cupcakes were aesthetically displayed on a three tiered stand.

The newlyweds and guests danced the night away with direct access to the venue's bar inside the barn. Towards the end of reception time, guests overflowed to the outdoor space right outside of the barn, which included a cozy fire pit that guests relaxed at. To capture the fun nature of this couple, Jennifer & Jerod’s grand exit included various colored glow sticks and lots of smiles. Glow Sticks make for great pictures and are a fun alternative to the typical sparkler exit. Overall, The Goff’s made the most of the venue space and created the magical mountain wedding of their dreams.
