Jordan and Dallas’s southern classic backyard wedding is a story to tell. The two had a small intimate wedding in Gallatin, Tennessee at Dallas’s aunt’s lake house in her backyard. The color palette they used was rust, navy, gold, whites, and greenery. It was a more classic outdoor wedding with beautiful and unique flowers and touches of their style and personal life throughout. If you are looking to plan a backyard wedding then keep on reading because Jordan and Dallas definitely took having a backyard wedding to the next level and they even included their pups! Who doesn’t love seeing dogs at a wedding? Everything about their wedding was absolutely perfect and filled with so much elegance.
The two had their wedding ceremony in the backyard under the trees with a beautiful view of the lake, which made for perfect pictures! The couple had a welcome table that included fans in case it was too hot and also had a guest book wooden sign with their last name on it for the guest to sign! Jordan wore a stunning lace white dress from Poinsette Bride with cup sleeves and a lace see-through back with buttons and a long train and she also had a veil with sparkles throughout it. Her bridesmaids wore rust-colored dresses from Asazie and let me tell you, I am loving that color! Dallas and his groomsmen wore a tailored navy suit from Men's Warehouse with rust-colored ties and brown shoes from Cole Haan. Now we can’t forget about the pups, they came in with such style matching Dallas!
The couple’s reception was held under a tent in the backyard. The reception was decorated beautifully and was very vibrant. The tables had white linens with rust-colored napkins which paired well with the centerpieces. Some tables had floral arrangements on them while others had lanterns surrounded with flowers. The sweetheart table was decorated with a unique floral bouquet and they even added the pillars that were filled with flowers from their ceremony behind their sweetheart table which added great elegance.
Jordan’s wedding bouquet was from Echoes of Eden which had unique and boho-style flowers with a mixture of our colors throughout and it was beautiful! We love a boho-style wedding bouquet. Dallas and his groomsmen’s also had unique boutonnieres which had cinnamon sticks and some greenery which was a great fit for a fall wedding! They even incorporated some flowers into their vanilla almond naked style cake with some gold flakes. Adding real flowers is always a great touch to making your wedding cake pop out more. Dallas even had his own cake which was a Vanderbilt football field, how cool is that?!
If you are looking for some cool unique wedding favors, the couple had beer and wine cups with their name and wedding date. This is a wedding favor that your guests are always going to use and remember! The couple had such an intimate wedding that was very personal to them. Unfortunately, Jordan’s mom passed away but before she passed she bought items for their wedding and they displayed them on their memory table. The cake stand was handmade and her garter was her grandmothers, then her moms, and then her aunts, and now it’s Jordans. She said each of them “has a charm to represent that person’s wedding”. One thing the couple said is “Cherish the planning phase and remember the most important part of the wedding is you are marrying your person and nothing else matters!” Jordan and Dalla’s southern classic backyard wedding is one to remember. They ended their night with a classic sparkler exit surrounded by so much love and happiness.
