Tommy and Haley wed on the expansive grounds at Macedonia Meadows in Cookeville, Tennessee complete with picturesque outdoor landscapes and a large reception farmhouse barn. The couple met through Tommy’s sister at one of his men’s travel softball games where they hit it off and the rest is history. Haley describes her wedding day as perfect. The couple was thrilled with the nature-filled atmosphere and wonderful weather. They styled their day with whimsical pampas grass paired with greenery, macrame, and tan and ivory accents abound. Their biggest piece of advice for other couples looking to save on budget is to shop on Etsy for décor elements.

Despite it being the most peaceful day ever, Haley does recall a funny moment, “My coordinator was taking my maid of honor, bridesmaids, and myself back to our bridal suite in a golf cart because guests started to show up while we were taking photos. In the process, she went off the road a little and we started to tip sideways in our golf cart. I think we all screamed pretty loud, but it was so funny!”Haley splurged on her dress, an original design by Tarak Nath Mishra, owner, and designer of Tabby Creations (named for his favorite tabby cat), and purchased at Couture by Tess Bridal. Tabby Creations is the factory owner of Couture by Tess Bridal, Tess Mann, uses it for her own couture and haute couture collections. Haley’s dress has silky-soft under layers of duchess satin fabric with a Maharani over the shell as well as multiple layers of Maharani ruffle tulle. The bodice is all original custom hand-embroidery and utilized several different crystal beads, pearls, bugle beads, and sequins. “I fell in love with my gown the moment I laid eyes on it. It was absolutely beautiful and very unique which is exactly what I was looking for. It has so many details that made the dress stunning. The ruffles were definitely something I knew I needed to have,” says Haley.Between Tommy and Haley’s rustic venue, hand-made macrame, lush bohemian pampas grass everywhere, and unique fashions, this wedding really exuded a free-spirited, southern soiree. We may never get over the beautiful way the neutral tones were used in such harmony for this sweet couple’s special day!
