It's another week on The Bride Link and today we are introducing Tyler and Chelsea's beautiful coastal oceanside wedding! The couple has been together since high school! They originally planned a wedding in 2020, but really wanted all of their guests to be able to attend. They waited this long, what's another year?! The couple filled the day with personalizations - making sure the guests really knew it was their day. From first look with dad to cocktail cups from their favorite local bar to dance with the IU flag, this wedding has all the beauty and details you could ask for!
Chelsea and her family grew up going to Hilton Head and the couple wanted to show their guests what Hilton Head Island was all about! The ceremony and cocktail hour were on the oceanfront deck looking out to the ocean and then the reception was in the Grand Ocean Terrace. It was beachy but also upscale and glamorous. They chose to just stick with classic and neutral colors - white, greenery, and pops of pale blue. The venue was so beautiful and they wanted to keep its coastal feel.
The bridesmaid's dresses were a stunning light blue color that was from The Dessy Group. Chelsea chose light blue because the color would look great on the beach with the water behind them. As for the groom and the groomsmen, Tyler was set on wearing classic black tuxes, so that is exactly what they did! Chelsea wore a fitted detailed strapless dress from Marie Gabriel Couture that was absolutely stunning! I mean, how perfect does she look?!
The reception was set up so perfectly to match the vision that Chelsea and Tyler had. Julie from Garden on the Square did an amazing job with making the floral arrangements - they were spectacular and incorporated beachy palm leaves. She decorated some tables with floral arrangements and others with candles and greenery which added the perfect touch of elegance to the tables! The couple had such a cute idea for their table numbers. They used double-sided picture frames and then used their Cricut to put the table number on the front. In each frame, they placed two pictures of themselves at some point in their relationship, including their first picture together! They also included pictures of momentous occasions including proms, special travels and trips, nursing and dental school graduations, and their engagement in London!
The couple chose a 3-tier wedding cake with white frosting and then had the florist decorate it with loose stems that matched the rest of the floral arrangements. They did have fun with the flavors of our 3-tier cake! The bottom tier was Chelsea's personal favorite of chocolate chip, the middle tier was vanilla cake with raspberry and lemon curd, and the top tier was key lime. All three flavors were a hit and the cake looked beautiful!
