Styled shoots have become commonplace in the wedding industry and we love seeing and reading about them. Not only do they help wedding vendors get their name out there, but they also provide the perfect wedding inspiration for brides. This Lavender in love styled shoot is giving off barn vibes with pure modern elegance and that is exactly what Talia from Four 26 Events envisioned when she planned this styled shoot. While the barn venue trend is very popular, there are couples that may not want such a rustic feel. The decor you choose will be your best friend when changing the feel of your venue. Just a touch of modern can go a long way with elevating your wedding at a barn venue!
Water's Edge at Tart Farms is a charming barn wedding venue located in Benson, North Carolina, and this place is such a gem. With the property being on 23 acres, this venue offers plenty of indoor and outdoor event spaces suitable for different wedding occasions. If you are looking for a breath-taking venue to get married at then check this hidden gem out because you won’t be disappointed!
Talia’s color inspiration for this shoot was lavender and peach. She loved the idea of peach as it's a gradual shift in colors and lavender which is more of a calming and a natural color thus the two paired well together! Wedding invitations always are the stepping stones to your wedding. They set the stage for your event and choosing the colors of them will give your guest an idea of what to expect at your wedding.
If you are looking for some wedding dress inspiration and how to style everything, the bride wore a beautiful Casablance gown from Carolina Bridal World, with Steve Madden heels and jewelry from Moon and Lola. This form-fitting dress was breathtaking and had just the perfect amount of details to it. The groom wore an edgier navy blue suit to compliment the bride’s dress and cufflinks that give just enough flare for this stylish guy. We loved how the two attires complemented each other and the decor!
When it comes to decorating the venue, the decor you choose will help elevate your wedding. Since this shoot was held in a beautiful barn, adding some modern elegance can help make your wedding more tasteful and classical. The tables had lavender linens with gold candle holders, light peach napkins, white china with gold accents with different shapes, and acrylic details. Each table had stunning floral arrangements as centerpieces. We were obsessed with the flowers from Rachel Schmoldt, they were jam-packed full of colors including lavender, purple, coral, peach, creams, and greenery. I mean, just look at the bride’s bouquet, definitely giving off bouquet inspiration!
Everything about this shoot was perfectly executed. We loved how unique everything was from the decor to the wedding cake. The cake from Southern Couture Cakes was a perfect mix of modern, peach, lavender, and gold! The gold flakes really complimented the gold cake stand along with the gold details through the design. The peach and lavender blend well and pull in just enough color to blend well with the textured linen. The fault line cake gives you a great focal point when looking at the cake from the natural tones used otherwise in the design. Even the acrylic signs were such a great touch and these can even be a DIY project if you want them to be! This styled shoot was definitely lavender in love and has plenty of wedding inspiration if you are looking to elevate your barn wedding!
