Coastal Garden Wedding
Welcome back to The Bride Link! Today, we are introducing Kate and Bryan's coastal garden wedding! They were married in the Coastal Mississippi town of Ocean Springs on a rainy June afternoon. Their wedding vision was an enchanting garden theme with many coastal elements added throughout. The getting-ready location was a boutique hotel in Ocean Springs called the Roost. The rooms are breathtaking and uniquely designed and Kate's suite was called the Shearwater and featured a design from Walter Anderson, whose museum the reception was held. The ceremony location was the lovely First Presbyterian Church. The reception location was the community center which is attached to the Walter Anderson Museum of Art. Walter Anderson was known as the South's most elusive artist.
Kate and Bryan had a very whimsical and coastal woodland style. It was very classic and had several natural elements incorporated such as pampas grass, eucalyptus, and antique roses! They incorporated lots of pampas grass with eucalyptus and antique roses! The coolest thing about the flowers was that her mother actually created the main floral centerpiece which had two large giant cranes around them. I mean, how beautiful does that look?!
Kate wore a stunning traditional halter top wedding dress with lace and she looks beautiful! The bridesmaids wore a gorgeous sage green color, and Bryan’s groomsmen all had on navy suits with sage green ties to compliment the bridesmaid dresses.
The ceremony and reception were both decorated so beautifully and very whimsical! The ceremony was decorated so pretty yet simple with two tall arrangements filled with pampas grass, greenery, and florals. The reception was definitely garden and whimsical themed! Everything about the reception was set up magically. The centerpieces were bottles with florals sticking out with a few votive candles to add the perfect touch! Their reception included many unique details like having a band called GOT Groove from New Orleans which Kate says "they made my wedding so much fun, and because they were so talented we were able to make many memories out on the dance floor with our family and friends!".
Their wedding cake was classic, traditional, and delicious! It was flavored with a strawberry filling and Bryan’s groom's cake was shaped like a white coat since he is in medical school and it was so precious!
