Hi everyone!! Today, on The Bride Link we are introducing this elegant and classic wedding that was held here in Tennessee! Catherine and Morgan met through mutual friends during their time at college and as soon as they met they knew that there was a special connection between them! After dating for a little while, Morgan knew that he wanted to propose to Catherine. He began planning the perfect proposal for her! Their proposal day started as a date to Biltmore Estates during Christmas time. They spent the day exploring the village, shopping, and wine tasting. Soon it was time for them to take the tour of the house. As they were walking towards the house Morgan led her in front of a giant lit up Christmas tree and proceeded to get down on one knee! Their tour wasn’t until 9:15 at night, that means that Morgan was carrying the ring around in his pocket the entire day.
The couple had their wedding ceremony at Church Street United Methodist Church with the reception following at Jackson Terminal here in Knoxville, Tennessee. They had chosen two Knoxville locations that have natural elegance and charm! I knew it would be the perfect wedding day. Everything about Cathering and Morgan's wedding was classic yet elegant!
Catherine and Morgan wanted their attire to be classic and romantic. The groomsmen wore dark grey suits and the bridesmaids would floor length heather grey dresses that matched their bouquets perfectly. Catherine wanted her dress to have great movement so that she could dance the night away with all of her friends and family.
The best piece of advice that Catherine and Morgan would give to other couples while planning their wedding would be to enjoy the moment during every part of the planning process. They wanted to make sure that each of their guests had fun so they needed a venue with a lot of room to dance and celebrate their love. The tables were beautifulally decorated with gold chargers and gold votive candles. Each table had floral arrangement centerpieces and the chargers were topped with little chocolate covered bean favors.
While planning their wedding, Catherine and Morgan knew that they wanted a romantic and moody style. They carried this style throughout the décor at their wedding. Their flowers and attire were classic and moody. The most important thing to them was making sure that they found a photographer that could capture both the romantic and fun sides of their relationship. It was important to them that they would have beautiful photos to remember their wedding day.
Catherine’s favorite part of the day was when she was finally able to see her future husband at the end of the aisle as she began walking down. She says that that memory will be one that she cherishes forever.
