Chic Micro Charleston Wedding!

Chic Micro Charleston Wedding!

Hi everyone! Today, we are introducing this gorgeous chic micro wedding in Charleston, SC which features a super cute couple, gorgeous details, tons of Charleston brick and an awesome rooftop overlooking the city! This stunning South Carolina gives the perfect wedding inspiration if you are wanting to hold a micro wedding of your own! This was Ann and Brandon's third wedding in the planning. As many can relate, Covid wrecked their first two plans which were both much different. The went from a large guest count, art museum venue with stations, to a swanky loft rooftop with a pizza food truck—covid wrecked all of it. When it comes to planning weddings, the third time is charmingly exhausting and Ann says they were planned out. After their third of planning they Google'd “small wedding venues in Charleston, SC.” Neither of them had ever been there. They found Upstairs at Midtown and loved the look, the rooftop and that they helped with planning, so they set up a meeting and booked this stunning venue!

The couples ceremony was out on the roof top and beautifully decorated with greenery being a statement piece! Ann and Brandon's favorite part of the day was their ceremony! They were surrounded by so much love and happiness. It was personal and intimate with a dash of humor, and they felt so comfortable in front of just their immediate family and friends!

Since it was a destination wedding and Upstairs at Midtown has enough character and charm to stand on its own, Ann and Brandon wanted the decorations and everything else to be simple yet elegant. They even skipped on a traditional wedding cake and had ice cream cakes from Off Track Ice Cream. This is such a great idea for couples that aren't big on cake but are wanting to incorporate some desserts! We are seeing a lot of variety of desserts and less cakes now days.  Ann wore a breathtaking all crepe, high neck, low back trumpet dress and accessorized with pearls and opals. I mean how stunning does she look?! Brandon wore a fully embodied Charleston with a sear-sucker suit straight from the origin to complicate Ann's dress. The groomsmen wore navy blue suites which looked great next to the bridesmaids dresses. Remember, never let the rain ruin your wedding day! The rain made for beautiful photos for Ann and Brandon's wedding day! The reception was simple yet elegant and tables were decorated with blush folded napkins, the bridesmaids flowers, and small candles. Making use of your bridesmaids flowers after the ceremony adds the perfect touch for your tables centerpieces! Using the venues beauty is a perfect way to no add much decor if you wanting to use less decorations for the reception! Ann's flowers were whimsical and garden inspired. The bouquet was filled with greenery and peach, mauve, and blush pink florals with a touch of blues. The bridal bouquet added the perfect touch of colors for the ceremony and reception!
