Are you planning a spring wedding? If so, this spring flower guide is a must have! Knowing what flowers are in season during your wedding planning may not only help you save money but also help you stay seasonal with your decor. I also created graphics below to show what spring flowers grow in what colors. Since I'm not a professional floral designer, I have the help of Esme from The Fleurella to make sure I have all my facts right. She will specifically discuss what flowers typically grow in spring and how that may effect their price. Enjoy, and I hope you find this helpful as you plan your spring wedding!
From Esme regarding how choosing flowers that are in season may effect their price.
There are some flowers that definitely have a season, when they are more readily available, slightly cheaper, longer lasting, and/or more beautiful. In my opinion, the best, most splendid flowers will alway be what are grown naturally in your area."
With that said… here are some of our favorite spring flowers for weddings!
Regarding flowers that are available year around...
Some that are good year around: Roses, snap dragons, carnation, alstroemeria, lily, chrysanthemum, gerber daisy, eucalyptus, stock, wax flower, orchid."
Enjoy these helpful graphics to see what flowers are available in your color palette! Have fun mixing and matching with your florist to create the perfect arrangements!
